July 2015 | my first month as a Flintern

It's hard to imagine that one month ago I was packing up everything I own into my truck and driving across the country from Bellingham, WA to Flint, MI.  Time is absolutely flying by one month into my internship here at The Flint Journal (aka Flintern). I think part of that has to do with the fact that I already feel so comfortable with my new community here. I am busy shooting a lot and I can already see the learning that is coming from that. Putting together this edit makes me excited to see the work and experiences that I will have in the coming five months.
