Danny is currently a freelance photographer based in Bend, Oregon. He is a visual journalism graduate from Western Washington University. 

As a photographer, Danny is drawn to the unfamiliar ways in which people live and experience reality. Within these differences, Danny often captures moments that are relatable to all of us - moments of love, struggle, connection, family, and pain. 

Danny's work has been recognized by The Associated Press, The Eddie Adams Workshop (XXIX), College Photographer of the Year, National Press Photographers Association, Society of Professional Journalists and Washington Press Association. His work is regularly distributed on the AP wire and has appeared in publications including The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Seattle Times, The Wall Street Journal and more.
